ATF Pistol Brace Rules

On Jan 31,2023, the ATF published new rules concerning pistols with stabilizing braces.

Pistols which were sold with these braces or, if the brace was added after purchase, are now deemed short barrel rifles subject to the NFA rules and subject to registration.

The Securite team is working with our legal and ATF partners to understand the final rules and develop procedures to help our customers.

As of Jan 31, 2023, we are halting all sales and transfers of pistol braced firearms until the situation can be clarified.

Our best advice is to be patient, review the material below and get educated.

Our Range circulates the air in each bay every 60-75 sec.
This increases the smoke Particles Per Minute in the Range.

Our range is NOT air conditioned. For the safety of our Guests and Team Members, we close the Range when temperatures exceeds 95’F.

The “assault weapons” ban bill has been signed into law.

All transfers of items that fall under the ASW WILL NOT be accepted.
Any shipment arriving will be rejected and returned to sender.

It is the CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY to have the item returned.

FIREARM TRANSFERS

IMPORTANT: If you are transferring a firearm to be picked up at Securité, ON and AFTER JULY 1st, 2022, Securité will NOT be able to transfer any 10+ round magazines regardless of circumstance.

Any firearm arriving with a 10+ round magazine on or after July 1st will have the magazine removed before the firearm is transferred. NOTE: No replacements or substitutions will be made.

Any customer who has purchased a firearm will be notified when the background check has been cleared and they will be able to pick it up.

We will work with you to determine the best way to pick up your firearm.

At Securité Gun Club, the health and safety of our employees and customer is a top priority. As such we are reminding our team and customers to be vigilant amid the growing concerns related to the spread of COVID-19.

Steps we are taking:
- We are monitoring and continue to follow all public health guidance. We will communicate regularly with our team to implement all recommended precautions.
- As a precautionary step, we are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures above and beyond our regular lead control and cleaning protocols.
- We will limit the number of people in the Range and Retail spaces to enable social distancing

Step you can take:
- Stay home if you are not feeling well
- Limit personal contact when possible
- Wash hands often and use our wash stations frequently.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth without washing your hands

WA “Assault Weapons” Ban (AWB) HB1240 is law.
The bill, makes it illegal to sell, transfer, distribute, ect. what the legislature has defined as an assault weapon.
