ATF Amnesty Period Form 1

The ATF amnesty for Pistol Braced Firearms ends on May 31, 2023.

Before this date, you can submit a Form 1 at the ATF Eforms Website to register your pistol braced AR as a short barreled rifle for FREE. After this date, a $200 tax stamp fee will be required.

In order to apply for your Form 1, you will need either electronic or digital version of your fingerprints, a passport photo and the photo and specs for your firearm.

ATF Pistol Brace Amnesty

ATF E-Fingerprint, Finger Print Cards & Photo Service

For ATF Form 1, we are able to provide you with an electronic file with your fingerprints plus a passport style photo all on a special USB drive.

The files can be used with multiple Form 1 submissions.

Concealed Carry Fingerprint cards are available for some of the local jurisdictions.

Identification MUST be current (not expired and no holes punched).
- If the address is not current, a copy of the DOL address change form OR vehicle registration will be required.

- WA State Driver’s License Preferred
- Any US State Driver’s License Or state ID card
- U.S. Passport
- Valid Washington State Temporary Driver’s License or ID card
- Military ID, US Coast Guard ID/Merchant Marine ID
- Dept. of Defense CAC
